until I fly back to my hometown in Florida to see my girlfriend. Then I have two weeks there, return to Tokyo, and take my finals. Already bought the gifts for her: a pair of shoes and Burberry Brit, a type of perfume. So much work to do for this semester, but I'm doing pretty well somehow. I aced two of my mid-terms, which is pretty damned shocking let me tell you. Still have a research paper to do about the Communist Party of Vietnam though. It's pretty difficult when I can't even read Vietnamese, and the party doesn't like publishing information about itself.Got a wee bit too drunk last night with a friend. Went to two different pubs. I think I had 1 Long Island Iced Tea hella huge size, 3 pints of Guinness, and 1 Stella Artois? Maybe I had more than that. Had some gyuu meshi on the way home. It was the single tastiest bowl of rice and beef I have ever had in my life. Beyond delicious. Drank 300mL of Karada Meguri Chya to recover when I got home. Computer is broken. Have to use the uni's machines for now, or I head to an manga internet cafe. New machine has been ordered though, and I can get it when I return for Xmas. I've become really productive though because of this. No internet at home means I stay at school longer so I can study, and I do my rather lengthy readings for all of my classes. Usually I'd just waste all my time online, sort of like what I'm doing right now.I've started reading GQ, which is a surprisingly readable men's magazine. Now if only I had enough disposable income to spend on nice clothing from Banana Republic, Burberry, and Prada clothing. Why must rent and utilities always wipe out my bank account!? Honestly, everybody at Sophia dresses so damned well it's scary. It's like the school is filled with runway models.Source
